That
handsome black & white coloring
is showing
up on a majority of his calves
and "BW" is proving that he also produces a very attractive
red brindle coloring on his progeny.
We look forward to seeing Blue Warrior's strong color influence
as we breed him to several of our newer foundation females —
each with their own variety of rich and beautiful Texas Longhorn
colors.
From the appearances of his calf crops,
it's certain Blue Warrior will leave a mark in the Longhorn world
as a consis-tent producer of top-quality offspring with exceptional
coloring, top-looking horns, and heavy, well-framed bodies.

Blue
Warrior's color genetics indicate he is heterozygous black and
wildtype
at the extension locus, allowing him to always produce either
black and white
or the exciting "wildtype"
coloration (brindles, walnuts,tri-colors, etc.) on
his calves. The "roaning" trait is also very dominant
in his genetics.
